How does the pickup work?

Go to our SCHEDULE A PICKUP page and choose Ecycle Pickup and fill out the online booking form.


Please read the following important information

  • On your pickup day have your items out by 8:00 am in the spot you indicated when booking.  We offer the porch pickup option to make the items less conspicuous.  Please make an effort to choose a location under an eve or porch that will minimize any exposure to rain.
  • For customers with computers, you can elect to receive a text approximately 30 minutes prior to our arrival.  This gives you an option to reduce the amount of time the items are unattended.  If you are concerned about sensitive information on computers or tablets the Department of Ecology has helpful links at their website  addressing this issue at ecyclewashington.org.  Neither the free drop-off option nor our pickup service can guarantee the security of information stored on devices submitted for recycle.  
  • ​Since the items we are picking up will be processed by the Ecycle Washington program you will need to indicate on the online booking form that you are either a Washington State resident, a business with 50 or fewer employees, a 501(c)(3) charity, a school, or a school district.

TVs, monitors and computers contain valuable materials that can be reclaimed and toxins that should be kept out of the landfill. Don’t throw them away! Recycle them for FREE with E-Cycle Washington. Visit ecyclewa.org to find a drop-off site near you.​  For those who prefer the convenience, or do not have a means of bringing the items to a drop-off site, you have a low-cost pickup option.  The choice is yours:

Ecycle Washington Electronics are:

  • Televisons (all types and sizes)
  • Desktop, Laptop and Tablet Computers
  • Computer Monitors
  • E-readers and Portable DVD Players


Many other household electronics are not included in the Ecycle program but we offer an option to add them to your Ecycle pickup.  Printers, keyboards, VCRs, and game consoles, as well as small appliances up to 30 pounds each can be added on to the pickup service for $5.00 per item.  For major appliances and exercise equipment see our RESIDENTIAL RECYCLE PICKUP page.
